Washbot

Washbot is a Telegram bot I built for my residence hall to remove the friction of checking laundry availability. The machines were on the second floor, I lived on the fifth, and I got tired of pointless trips.

The bot keeps a live view of washer and dryer status in Airtable, lets residents see availability before they walk down, and sends alarms when cycles finish. It served a dorm of around 100 students and logged 1,000+ interactions.
